Skin Care Routine for Oily Skin

Oily skin presents challenges, like shiny complexion and acne breakouts. With help of the right skincare routine and products, these issues can be less.

Daily Cleanse

You hould cleanse your face in the morning and night. Wash with salicylic acid, both in the morning and evening.

Toner

Skin Treat

If you’re prone to acne, use benzoyl peroxide or sulfur in the daytime to prevent breakouts. In the evening use retinol products that keep pores clear and skin glowing.

American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends using blotting papers to control excess oil. 

Wash after exercise

Washing your face after exercise will help remove sweat, oil, and dirt that may build up while you’re exercising.

Choose Skincare products wisely

Avoid any products with alcohol, Also, avoid cocoa butter, shea butter, and Vaseline.

Sunscreen

When outdoors, wear a sunscreen that’s at least SPF 30. Use a sunscreen that contains either titanium dioxide or zinc oxide.
